What Do You Think?

Hey! So my brain was just coasting off one day on it's own like it normally does, and I thought of this brilliant idea! So what do you all think of a book club? I could host a book club where we vote on a specific book to read and then we have a discussion about it! What do you guys think? I'll set up a pole about if you want to participate or not and if we get more than five votes saying that they'll do it, I'll get one started. Ok, short post but this is exciting!

It took me a minute to understand this picture, but when I did
I got scared. It's slightly funny in a messed up sort of way.
Our book club, if we have one, will not be like this.

a book club sounds fantastic! We can read the same books. Well kind of. I'm not allowed to read Harry Potter books and such. Ooh I'm going to need a library card! Fun!! yeah, I'm such a nerd. Lol.

  3. Hmm...well, it's really hard to have a virtual discussions, yeah? And, also, it might be hard for some people to find the book that is chosen, since libraries just love to not have the book that's needed at the time. There's also the issue of time. I'm thinking about participating, but I just don't know if the time we do it I'll be able to.

(Oh, and by the way, it's "poll," not "pole." (: )

    1. We'll see how it works. If it's a train wreck we don't have to continue..... I don't know how it's gonna work either.

Ug! You always get me for that one! :P

    2. Is there any way you could start up an online message board or chat room? Then it would be a lot easier to have online discussions about the books. :)

    3. Yeah, I think I'm going to do it on a Google Doc like what our sentence story is on..... :)
That's the closest to message board or chat room I can find so I think it'll work!

And that picture is very scary, I would hope that your book club wouldn't be like that! :P

    1. Lol you don't have to come all the way to Michigan for our book club! It's virtual! You can participate right on your computer! :)

Oh don't worry, our book club would be gun free..... But monkeys are allowed. :P

  6. Hey July! I just thought of a great website that would make being in the bookclub a lot easier! It is called Wiggio and it is a free website for groups. It allows groups to discuss topic and such. I am having a hard time explaining it, so you should go check it out if you have the time!

Hello there! Thanks so much for dropping by my little corner of the blogosphere. I'd really appreciate if you could give me a follow as well *hint, hint* These "about-me's" are literally the hardest things to write, but I'll have a go at it. You can call me July, or really whatever else floats your boat. I live in a very culturally proud little town that borders beautiful beaches, giving us fun for both summer and winter such as swimming, tanning, boating, skiing, ice-fishing, ice-berg walking, and gorgeous sunsets on the beach year-round. I hope to make it through high school and head off to college for, well, I don't know yet, but whatever it is, it'll be something I love. Robotics, books, movies, and music of all genres are kinda my thing. I would basically consider myself to be one of those stereotypical girls who fall desperately in love with fictional boys... I have a strange obsession with tea drunken from cute elephant mugs. So grab a cuppa and strap yourselves in for some brilliant stuff coming soon!
