Since It's Now February....

Hiya faithful readers! SNOW DAY TODAY!
Anyway, I did a January "dare" as you all might know, and by far did "strike up a random conversation with someone you don't know" beat out the others. So I did, and at first it didn't go so well. It was during Spanish class and Jocelyn and I could go out in the hallway and work so we did and I said hola to some random people in hallway, hoping that we could strike up a conversation. Only like two people out of fifteen said hi back, and I was like, wow.
Later that day we had family groups where our whole school 1st through 8th grade gets together in groups to do something. Well, I was partnered with a second grader who I've never even talked to before and I was like, "Hi!"
And he was like, "Hi!"
So I said, "What's up?"
And we had a conversation. I learned that he loved snakes and bunnies and hamsters and gerbils, and that he really saw God in creation and animals. It was pretty fun and now I hope that we can talk more in the next family group activity!
Well, I need some dares for February, anything as long as it's not dangerous! Comment in this post, and I'll set up another poll when we get a few!
Also, it looks like I'll be keeping my blog title the same, which I'm glad about because the more I thought about it, the more I was confused why I even wanted a change.

  4. Oh, a dare...well the last time I tried, my dares were either impossible to do or against your school rules.
Ummm, how about wearing mismatched shoes to school and seeing how many people notice?
Sorry, I'm really bad at dares.

Maybe people didn't say hi back to you because they thought you were talking to someone else?

    1. That's a good one!
Maybe that's the case, but I doubt it..... They probably thought I was a weirdo stalker.... :P

  7. That's really funny that you had a conversation.... he must love animals. You could probably do something like sit at the bottom of the snow hilll on a sled during break.... or just stop and read in the hallway.... or maybe in the hallway, freeze for a minute or two...
