Since It's Now February....
Hiya faithful readers! SNOW DAY TODAY!
Anyway, I did a January "dare" as you all might know, and by far did "strike up a random conversation with someone you don't know" beat out the others. So I did, and at first it didn't go so well. It was during Spanish class and Jocelyn and I could go out in the hallway and work so we did and I said hola to some random people in hallway, hoping that we could strike up a conversation. Only like two people out of fifteen said hi back, and I was like, wow.
Later that day we had family groups where our whole school 1st through 8th grade gets together in groups to do something. Well, I was partnered with a second grader who I've never even talked to before and I was like, "Hi!"
And he was like, "Hi!"
So I said, "What's up?"
And we had a conversation. I learned that he loved snakes and bunnies and hamsters and gerbils, and that he really saw God in creation and animals. It was pretty fun and now I hope that we can talk more in the next family group activity!
Well, I need some dares for February, anything as long as it's not dangerous! Comment in this post, and I'll set up another poll when we get a few!
Also, it looks like I'll be keeping my blog title the same, which I'm glad about because the more I thought about it, the more I was confused why I even wanted a change.

Concrates on like everything, and dude snowday can you hangout yet?
ReplyDeleteConcrates? And yeah hold on I'll call you.......
Delete*congrates, as in congratulations
DeleteOh, well, Rae, dear, that is spelled "congrats"..... just letting you know!
Deletewell, July, dear, you know I don't care about spelling. ;-p
DeleteHahah yeah, I was joking ;-p and anyways I dare you to go on twitter more ;D
DeleteMore than I already am??? Well, on my personal account....
DeleteI, Seana, hereby give you, July, the dare of doing summersaults down the hallway at school.
ReplyDeleteYou know that I CAN'T do summersaults...... I just can't. Plus that would be disgusting.......
Delete...
DeleteYou're no fun. xD. PLEASE?
If you promise to do it with me.
DeleteNo. This is YOUR dare, here, not mine! Bet you could get Ev to do it though. (:
DeleteI doubt it. Maybe bring that dare up again when we're in dryer months so the floors of school won't be so disgusting and wet and muddy.
DeleteNo fair. I don't want to wait months and months to see you cartwheeling down the hall!
DeleteUm, Sea.... I've never been able to do cartwheels. EVER.
DeleteSnow day lucky! Two dares- do a short dance in public, try a food you have never had.
ReplyDeleteKy
Ooh! Good ones, except I CAN'T dance.... Lol.
DeleteOh, a dare...well the last time I tried, my dares were either impossible to do or against your school rules.
ReplyDeleteUmmm, how about wearing mismatched shoes to school and seeing how many people notice?
Sorry, I'm really bad at dares.
Maybe people didn't say hi back to you because they thought you were talking to someone else?
That's a good one!
DeleteMaybe that's the case, but I doubt it..... They probably thought I was a weirdo stalker.... :P
Oh, and I nominated you for the Liebster Blog Award (the one that I got from Seana)....

Oh I'll definitely check it out :)
DeleteI'm too wimpy these days to do a real dare lol. If someone told me to do that I'd be like NO WAY SISTA. But yay for getting to learn all that stuff about the second grader! Good luck on your next dare!
ReplyDeleteHaha lol, I really am starting to re-think...... but you know, you only live once :D
DeleteThat's really funny that you had a conversation.... he must love animals. You could probably do something like sit at the bottom of the snow hilll on a sled during break.... or just stop and read in the hallway.... or maybe in the hallway, freeze for a minute or two...

I am so confused right now...... What?
