Just Waiting....

Hello everyone! I know I said I'd post more now that the robotics season is technically done, but it turns out I've still been really busy with it. In addition to that, the school year is officially coming to a close (only two weeks left... wow), so I'm super stressed out with exams coming up and projects in every class, because this winter we had a record amount of 10 snow days during second semester and the negative effects of those catching up to us. Long story short, we still have a lot to get through.
I also have happy news for you! I'll be posting a lot more this summer than past summers because my family finally bought a laptop! (no more typing out posts on my ipod during the summer!) I have some pretty fun stuff planned, so I'll have a lot of awesome things to tell you about.

The reason for this post is just to let you know what's going on for me right now, I guess. At the moment, I'm waiting. You may have figured that out from the post title, haha. "Waiting for what?" you ask? Well, this past Wednesday, I tried out for my school's advanced choir type of thing. It's insanely hard to get into for lower-classmen, so I don't expect to make it at all. I tried out with the mindset of just giving it a go and gaining experience if I decide to try out again in future years, so I'm not really dying to see the results, but I'm very curious to see who made it. Anyway, the official list will be posted online by 5:00 today. That is just over an hour. I'll be totally fine whether I make it or not, but wish me luck, I guess!

Goodbye!
July

****UPDATE*****
I did not make it into the choir, but that's really ok with me. All of the people who will be part of it this coming year totally deserve it and I know that I'll always have future years to go for it if I still want to!

Hello there! Thanks so much for dropping by my little corner of the blogosphere. I'd really appreciate if you could give me a follow as well *hint, hint* These "about-me's" are literally the hardest things to write, but I'll have a go at it. You can call me July, or really whatever else floats your boat. I live in a very culturally proud little town that borders beautiful beaches, giving us fun for both summer and winter such as swimming, tanning, boating, skiing, ice-fishing, ice-berg walking, and gorgeous sunsets on the beach year-round. I hope to make it through high school and head off to college for, well, I don't know yet, but whatever it is, it'll be something I love. Robotics, books, movies, and music of all genres are kinda my thing. I would basically consider myself to be one of those stereotypical girls who fall desperately in love with fictional boys... I have a strange obsession with tea drunken from cute elephant mugs. So grab a cuppa and strap yourselves in for some brilliant stuff coming soon!
