Hello there! Thanks so much for dropping by my little corner of the blogosphere. Let me introduce myself. My blogger name is July A. Emmance, and I live in a very culturally proud little town in Michigan that borders beautiful beaches, giving fun for both summer and winter seasons, such as swimming, boating, skiing, ice-berg walking, and enjoying gorgeous sunsets on the beach year-round. 

I'm generally a very easy-going and relaxed person, and I enjoy spending my days with family and friends, indoors and outdoors. Some of my hobbies include music, reading, speaking Spanish, traveling, hiking, and hammocking. One day, I hope to travel the world full-time with my dog and eventually settle down near the Canadian Rocky Mountains. 

I am currently in school earning a degree in political science and Spanish. I am very passionate about social justice and would love to work for a nonprofit organization that combines my interest in the relationships between urban politics, poverty, and religion. I'm still figuring out what I ultimately want to spend the rest of my life doing, but I'll let y'all know when I figure it out ^_^

I originally started this blog in 2011 {wow, that's a crazy long time ago!} to write book reviews and share some life-updates with you all, but slowly through time my blog has morphed into more of a life diary for me. I now enjoy posting about travel, books, poetry, writing, music, and life, and even making vlogs every once in a while! 

So, I just want to say thank you to everybody who has been around since the very beginning and to those who are recent readers. I could not have kept this site running for so long without your constant support and friendship!
